In August, the European chlorine production stood at 828,694 tonnes. With 26,732 tonnes, the August average daily production was nearly equal to the one of the previous month (July 2016: 26,731 tonnes), but 1% higher than in August 2015 (26,457 tonnes).

In July, the European chlorine production reached 826,510 tonnes. With 26,662 tonnes, the July average daily production was 6.4% above the level of the previous month (June 2016: 25,048 tonnes), but 0.2% lower than in July 2015 (26,704 tonnes).
